Pink Ballet Shoes

I attended a Ballet Class one time to watch the children prepare for a rehearsal for a Christmas Recital they were going to do the following week. This reminds me of the beautiful pastel works Degas used to do of the ballet dancers in the French Ballet Schools

Sunlight through an arched window in the old Auckland Central Post Office building - now redeveloped into the Britomart Transport Centre.

Downtown Mural - the man with the broom

Auckland Central has some amazing and interesting murals painted here and there on old buildings. Murals help to take away the bland monotany of cold concrete in the urban setting. I found this compelling reminder that we're all only human afterall.
